Perhaps they were just having an off day. So, if you are a first-time diner and have an experience such as this, but the food is still great, be sure and give the restaurant another chance. My point here is that we dine at The Sage Biscuit often and today was the first time we had anything but a great experience. When we received our food the quality was top-notch as usual and very enjoyable with the sole exception of french fries that seemed to have been cooked a while back before serving, but I’ll cut them a break on that. Our server filled our drinks and explained that their cook staff had a couple sick call-offs today and there were only two guys working the kitchen as fast as they could. The wait was probably double the normal time but still not excruciating. It didn’t take to long to see that there were many diners waiting for their food. (Never had a server be anything but friendly and accommodating here). We were seated promptly and our server took our orders quickly and was friendly as usual. but occasionally the wait is too long as it was today, so we dined inside. I gave them a 4 here today and am writing a review to remind diners that everyone has an off day due to life circumstances.
